Automaker giant Jaguar will be recalling two different vehicle models in the United States, according to a report on Thursday, August 15. The recalls are being made due to potential stalling issues and a switch issue in the power window that may injure occupants
940 of the 2013 model XF 2-liter GTDi are being recalled as brake and steering assistance may be lost if the hose clamp of the charge air cooler becomes detached. In the second recall, about 1,989 XK convertibles from 2011-2014 are affected with power window issues that may cause finger and arm injuries because of a defective switch that activates the power window on its own.
Dealers of the recalled cars will either replace or inspect the issues and repair it for free, beginning on September 27 according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
