Three people were injured, including a 15-year-old male pedestrian, in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Milwaukee the morning of April 26.
According to Sgt. Mark Stanmeyer, a westbound Cadillac Escalade, driven by a 63-year-old woman, was struck by a Jeep Cherokee heading south at the intersection of 53rd Street. The Escalade left the roadway and hit a parked vehicle and a tree before striking a teenager who was walking to a bus stop. The husband of the Cherokee driver Thomas Robinson said the brakes went out after the initial accident.
The drivers of the two vehicles and the 8th grader were brought to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
