According to officials with the Waukesha Police Department, the accident occurred shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday along Highway 16, near North Avenue in the town of Hartland. The Hartland Police Department said a county truck was removing snow along the highway when it was struck by another vehicle from the rear.
According to the accident report, the 18 year-old driver of the car was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Wausau. Police say the driver was taken to the hospital as a precaution. He was released shortly after, authorities said.

Police says alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.
