A man was injured in a Waukesha motorcycle accident Saturday.

According to officials with the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department, the accident occurred shortly after 12:00 p.m. on Highway 88 just north of Laehn Ridge Road. Police say Darell H Banker, of Waukesha, missed a curve, flipped his motorcycle, and was then thrown from the bike.

A Mayo One helicopter was called to the scene of the crash, but Banker was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. Authorities described his injuries as "non-life-threatening."

Buffalo County Sheriff's deputies say speed was a factor in the crash.
