A 31 year-old man from West Allis was injured Saturday in a crash on Interstate 94 in Waukesha County.
According to officials with the Wisconsin State Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 5:00 p.m., in the westbound lanes of I-94, when a yellow SUV braked suddenly and crossed in front of a Lexus SUV to make an illegal U-turn. A statement by the State Patrol said two motorcyclists were traveling behind the Lexus, which was driven by a 43 year-old man from Fitchburg. The first motorcycle was able to maneuver around the SUV but the second collided with its left-rear quarter.
The motorcyclists name was not immediately available. The Wisconsin State Patrol also said the yellow SUV did not stop after the crash.
