Single-engine plane crash injures one

by Administrator 21. May 2010 03:24

A Wisconsin man was injured last week when his single-engine aircraft crashed into a farm field.

The pilot was performing a routine flight when the plane began to experience engine problems. He attempted to redirect the plane back to the airport, but crashed during his approach. The force of the impact caused the front landing gear to buckle, which caused the plane to roll over with the pilot inside. He was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Mechanical failures or defects can be especially dangerous when operating or riding in a plane or other vehicle. If you or someone you love has been injured in an accident, contact the Waukesha product liability lawyers of Habush, Habush & Rottier, S.C., today at 800-242-2874 to discuss your case.

The requirement for product warnings

by Administrator 28. October 2009 03:43

Products are required to include warnings about risks and dangers associated with the product. These warnings are meant to ensure consumer safety, such as protecting against harmful uses.

If a product manufacturer fails to provide adequate warnings, the manufacturer could be charged with a tort and sued for damages. These warnings can range from explicit messages to directions on how to use a product properly.

If you have been injured while using a product that did not have an adequate warning, contact the Waukesha products liability lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.

The risks posed by defective ski equipment

by Administrator 23. October 2009 00:23

As winter approaches, many families will be hitting the slopes. While skiing is a fun activity for the whole family, it poses a risk of serious injury.

Some of these injuries because of adverse snow conditions or unsafe skiing habits. However, a ski accident and resulting injury may occur because of defective equipment.

Ski equipment includes skis, boots, poles, and other accessories involved in skiing. While these pieces of equipment are designed with the skier's safety in mind, the equipment can sometimes be faulty. When it does not function properly, the chance of accident increases, and such an accident could lead to serious injury.

If you or anyone you know has been injured due to defective ski equipment, contact the Waukesha products liability lawyers of Habush, Habush, & Rottier, S.C., at 800-242-2874.
