Police task force targets drunk drivers over weekend

by Administrator 4. January 2010 06:23

A police task force last weekend arrested a number of people for drunk driving. According to police reports, the drunk driving task force was meant to curb the amount of drunk driving in Milwaukee and Waukesha counties.

These task forces are often assembled as a way to reduce the risk that drunk drivers pose to other drivers. This risk is reduced by positioning police officers and other task force members at areas where drunk driving is likely to occur. These locations typically include areas near bars or sporting events.
