7-year-old boy hospitalized after pit bull attack

A 7-year-old boy from Kenosha was badly injured after he was attacked by a pit bull, a report from nbc15.com on Monday, November 25.

According to the Racine Police, the incident happened on Friday, November 22 when the victim, whose name was withheld, was playing at his cousin’s house when a pit bull was disturbed by their noise. The dog reportedly ran towards the victim and bit him. The boy was brought to the Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa due to severe wound injuries that exposed his bones, police said.The boy’s mother was also hurt after she helped fend off the dog from attacking her son.

The dog owner was cited for violating regulations of having a dog.
