Staff member Annais Rittenberg was killed and four others were injured after an oak tree fell inside well known Jewish summer camp, Camp Tawonga, near Yosemite National Park on the morning of July 3.

According to reports, 21-year-old Rittenberg, an art counselor at Camp Tawonga, was killed after a tree fell while her, other staff members, and campers were having breakfast. Four other people were transported to hospitals close by after sustaining injuries. No campers were hurt in the incident.

Authorities plan to conduct further investigations into the accident, with which Pacific Gas & Electric Co., the company tasked with annual inspections of the tree, plans to comply.

Some 300 children and 150 staff were in the camp when the accident happened.
