Three people were injured in a Waukesha rollover accident Friday.
According to officials with the Waukesha Police Department,the accident took place shortly after 12:00 p.m. Friday near the intersectionof Oakdale Drive and Townline Road. Police say it appears a sport utilityvehicle may have struck the right-hand shoulder, then over-corrected andcrossed the road, before striking a ditch and landing upside-down in a field.
According to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Departmentaccident report, three people were injured in the crash. The victims weretransported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment. Their injuries weredescribed as non-life-threatening.
The names of the injured people have not been released. Theaccident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’sDepartment.
