Six-Year-Old Killed in Waukesha Crash

A six year-old boy was killed in a Waukesha car accident Thursday.

According to officials with the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, six year-old Treyton E. Kilar succumbed to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle accident, which occurred at the intersection of  STH 20 and CTH N in the Town of Troy shortly after 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Kilar was found in the backseat of a car and was unresponsive. Deputies immediately administered CPR. Kilar was transported to Waukesha Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:42 p.m.

According to the Walworth County Crash Investigation Unit, 44 year-old Scott D. Dragotta was traveling northbound on Hwy N in a 2000 Chevy Suburban when he failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a vehicle driven by Michael S. Kilar in which Treyton was a passenger.

Dragotta was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
