Semi Crash Injures Woman

On Wednesday morning, a crash occurred along US 41 involving a semi truck and a car. Around 9:15am, the truck stopped along the highway without pulling onto the shoulder. A car then rear ended the truck.

The woman driving the car was injured in the crash and was taken to a hospital. The driver of the semi was uninjured and will be ticketed for improper parking on a roadway.

Boat Crash Injures 5

Sunday night, a boat crash occurred at the Milwaukee breakwall near the north gap. Around 10:45pm, the boat struck the wall going about 20mph. The US Coast Guard responded to the scene.

One male and three females were pulled from the bow of their boat. Another person was found unconscious about 10 feet from the boat. All five were taken to hospitals in unknown conditions.

Woman Killed in Crash

On Monday night, a crash occurred in the Town of Merton. A northbound car crossed the center line and went off the opposite side of the road, striking a tree around 9pm.

The woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash is currently being investigated. An autopsy is scheduled for next Monday.

Crash Injures 1, Kills 1

Early Monday morning, a crash occurred in Milwaukee. According to police, an SUV was driving at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and struck a curb and then a tree around 2am.

A passenger was ejected in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa in critical but stable condition. Police are investigating.

Man Dies in Pewaukee Triathlon

On Sunday, a Milwaukee man was competing in the swimming portion of a Pewaukee triathlon when he grabbed for a lifeguard boat and a flotation device before going under the water.

The man was pulled from the water and CPR was administered. However, the man could not be resuscitated. An autopsy was scheduled for later in the day to determine the cause of his drowning.

Crash Kills 2

A crash occurred early Sunday afternoon in Mukwonango. Around 12:44pm, a vehicle pulling away from a stop sign along Highway I was struck by an SUV traveling along Highway 83.

The passenger in the Highway I vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene. His wife, the driver, was taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa where she was later pronounced dead as well. The other driver was taken to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Fireworks Injure Boy

A 12 year old boy was involved in a fireworks accident Saturday night. The boy was at a 4th of July party when he was struck in the head with some fireworks around 10:10pm.

The boy was air lifted to Froedtert Hospital for treatment and is recovering there. There was no word on how or why the boy was hit by the fireworks. No one else was injured.
