An oil field worker was recently electrocuted to death. As he was unloading an aluminum ladder from a truck, the ladder touched a power line that was hanging low. When it was realized that the ladder was about to touch the power line, two workers grabbed at it; the first oil field worker was fully electrocuted.
The worker was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The workers had parked beneath the power line, not realizing the risk. They were going to install new storage tanks at an oil well site.
